Cleaning White Leather Shoes / Trainers

This following article on cleaning white leather shoes will give you all the tips you need to keep your shoes looking clean and brand new. This tip may also work on other leather products; although I have only ever done so my shoes and trainer. Therefore employ these tactics in your own discretion.

This cleaning tip will also allow you to cover up scuff marks and scratches from your footwear.

You will need the following items for this cleaning task:

  • Warm water
  • 2 x Clean cloths
  • White toothpaste

    1) The first tip in cleaning your white leather shoes is to grab yourself a clean soft cloth and dampen it with warm water.

    2) Then proceed to clean any mud or dirt off your footwear.

    3) When you have cleaned the shoes of any mud you can now go about making the leather look as good as new. So, grab the second clean cloth and apply a little fingernail amount of toothpaste to it and rub it into the leather.

    3) When you have fully cleaned the shoes, place in a dust-free area of your home and leave to dry for the next twenty to thirty minutes. N.B. When you have initially cleaned the shoes with the toothpaste you ma not be terribly impressed by the results, but as the toothpaste begins to dry the shoes will become, whiter and whiter.
